MUMBAI: Zee Motion Pictures (ZMP) production director Deepak Sharma has put in his papers.

Sharma, 42, who heads the production and acquisition of Hindi films produced under the ZMP and Zee Limelight (ZL) labels, is currently serving his notice period.

Said ZMP director, marketing and sales Sanjeev Lamba, “ Sharma has resigned from the company and at present is serving his notice period."

When contacted, Sharma said, "My last day at work in Zee will be 8 July.” He, however, refused to divulge about his next destination, “I have a few options but before that I will go on a month-long vacation,” he quipped.

Sharma, a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University, has been associated with Sony Pictures, Walden Media and Columbia Tristar Films in India.
