Warner Bros’ ‘Yes Man’ garners $182 mn over weekend

MUMBAI: Warner Bros’ Yes Man has collected $182 million over the weekend to become the highest grosser of the week at the US box office.

Yes Man is an American comedy flick directed by Peyton Reed and stars Jim Carrey. The film is based on the true story and 2005 book ‘The Yes Man’ by British humourist Danny Wallace.

Furthermore, the Will Smith starrer Seven Pounds has finished second at the US box office earning $16 million over the weekend. Animated film The Tale of Despereaux is third with $10.5 million.

While Seven Pounds revolves around the story of a man who tries to atone for a tragic past by helping seven strangers, The Tale of Despereaux tells the story of a brave mouse who must rescue a princess.
