MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) India is set to distribute Raaz - The Mystery Continues (Raaz - TMC), a horror flick directed by Mohit Suri. Co-produced by Vishesh Films and music label Sony BMG, the film will hit the theatres on 23 January.

Raaz – TMC, written by Shagufta Rafique, stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman.

Vishesh Films chairman and MD Mukesh Bhatt says, “Raaz - TMC is witness to many firsts for us. It is our first venture for a film with Sony BMG, which is a music label. To now have SPE distribute it in the Indian market is yet again a big first.”

Earlier, SPE had distributed Sanjaya Leela Bhansali’s Sawariyan in India.

The music of the film, released by Sony BMG, has been composed by Raju Singh, Sharib-Toshi, Pranay M Rijiya and Gourov Dasgupta. Sonu Nigam, KK, Shreya Ghosal, Toshi and Krishna are the playback singers of the movie.

Says Sony BMG managing director Shridhar Subramaniam, “Having SPE on board for the distribution of Raaz - TMC has fortified our strength as we venture into Bollywood film production.”
