MUMBAI: The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has nominated Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodhaa Akbar for the Best Foreign film category.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, recently bagged honours at the Sao Paulo film festival and the Golden Mibar Festival in Russia.

The final nominations list for the BAFTA awards will be announced on 15 January. The ceremony will be staged at the Royal Opera house in London on 8 February.
