MUMBAI: Producer Rohan Sippy's English language film, The President Is Coming, which was slated for a 28 November release, will now hit the screens only in January.

Directed by Kunaal Roy Kapur, the film revolves around the former president of America, President George W Bush.

The film has Konkona Sen Sharma as the head protagonist who plays a Bengali writer and social activist, Maya Roy. In the film, Konkona is one of the six contestants who have to represent New India when the President of America pays a visit to the country.

Apart from Konkona, the star cast of the film also includes Shernaz Patel, Ira Dubey, Vivek Gomber, Satchit Puranik, Namit Das, Anand Tiwari, Shivani Tanksale.

While Jabeen Merchant is the editor of the film, Keshav Prakash is the cinematographer. Also, Hussain Shaikh is the executive producer of The President Is Coming.
