MUMBAI: Pritish Nandy, chairman of Pritish Nandy Communications, has received the Karamveer Puraskar 2008 by the iCONGO-Indian Confederation of NGOs at the Right Every Wrong Conclave. The conclave was held at Satyagraha Mandap in Rajghat, New Delhi.

iCONGO, which integrates NGOs working in different spheres, awarded Nandy with the Karamveer Puraskar for his contribution to socially responsible media and outstanding film making.

The short listing of the entries is carried out by an expert panel from iCONGO comprising representatives of prominent NGOs based on a process set and created by Mercer and Grant Thorton.
