MUMBAI: The Adlabs-Cinema Park network facility
has launched Indias first 6D cinema at
Agra, making it the first in Asia as well.
With
Adlabs in partnership with Cinema Park Network,
who work in the production of multi-sensory
educational experiences, the idea is to provide
an edutainment experience that is interactive.
Unlike
2D or 3D movie theatres, Cinema Parks
technology claims to employ visual and audio
effects that bring real three dimensional images
before audiences' eyes, thus allowing them to
simultaneously experience sight, smell, sound,
touch, motion and interaction with the characters.
A
half-hour film called India in Motion
has been created wherein actor Anupam Kher takes
the audience through Indias evolution
from an ancient civilisation to a modern nation
"bustling with activity and abundant with
opportunity".
Adlabs
Cinemas COO Tushar Dhingra says, We have plans to introduce this format
at other popular tourist destinations such as Jaipur and Goa as well as international
airport terminals, adding a whole new dimension to the country's tourism and entertainment
industries. Apart from tourists, the Cinema Park format is ideal for schools and
educational institutes, employee programmes and families, providing a fresh edutainment
experience." |
