MUMBAI: Farhan Akhtar is co-producing his sister Joya Akhtar’s first directorial venture Luck By Chance.

Apart from producing the film along with Ritesh Sidhwani, brother Akhtar will also be playing the lead role opposite Konkona Sen Sharma. Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will be in supporting roles, while Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan will have a guest appearance in the film.

The screenplay of Luck By Chance has been written by Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar and the music has been scored by Shankar Mahadevan, Loy Mendonsa and Ehsaan Noorani.

While the dialogue for the film has been written by the father-son duo, Javed and Farhan Akhtar, the lyrics has been penned by Javed Akhtar alone.

Farah Khan is the choreographer of the film.
