MUMBAI:
Inox Leisure has posted a net profit of Rs 83
million for the quarter ended 30 September 2007,
up 19 per cent as compared to Rs 69.6 million
in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
During
the period the company's revenue stands at Rs
580.2 million, registering a 45 per cent growth
as against Rs 399.6 million in the corresponding
quarter of the last financial year.
The
company has amalgamated Calcutta Cine Private
Limited (CCPL) during the second quarter of
the current fiscal. The results for the quarter,
thus, include the figures of CCPL.
During
the second quarter of this fiscal, Inox has
opened three new properties which include eight
screens and 2728 seats at Bharuch, Raipur and
Mumbai.
Inox
Leisure director Deepak Asher said, "These
figures are reflective of our aggressive national
roll out and our profit leadership position
in the industry."
