Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutts hopes
of being a free man came crashing down as the
Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of his bail
plea to 27 November. Dutt, who was sentenced
to six years imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai
blasts case, is currently lodged in Punes
Supreme Court would also take up bail petitions
and appeals of others convicts in the case along
with Dutt`s plea in the next hearing.
actor was convicted on 28 November 2006, and
his punishment was pronounced on 31 July 2007.
Thereafter he was taken into custody.
TADA court had held him guilty of possessing
an AK 56 rifle and a pistol under the Arms Act,
but acquitted him of charges under the TADA.
