NEW
DELHI: Twelve Indian films are to be screened in different sections
of the 17th Busan International Film Festival in Korea.
The festival will be held from 4 to 13 October and feature a total
of 304 films from 75 countries.
A
Window on Asian Cinema will feature the film Born to Hate
Destined
to Love (Ishaqzaade) by Habib Faisal, I.D by Kamal K.M, Shymal Uncle
Turns off the Lights by Suman Ghosh, and Valley of Saints (India/United
States) by Musa Syeed.
The
New Currents section will have Filmistaan by Nitin Kakkar, while
the Wide Angle section will feature In Gods Land by Pankaj
Rishi Kumar, The Artist by Siddartha Jatla, Arjun by Arnap Chaudhuri,
and CHAR
the No-Mans Island by Sourav Sarangi.
Open
Cinema will have the new film Barfi! by Anurag Basu, while Midnight
Passion will screen both parts of Gangs of Wasseypur by Anurag
Kashyap.
