MUMBAI:
Director Sajid Khan has come up with a unique style
of marketing for the remake of Himmatwala, said
to be a true homage to the 80s. The director will host
the film's 'muhurat' live on YouTube on 22 August from
Hyderabad.
It
is said that when Khan explained the idea to the producers
Vashu Bhagnani and Siddharth Roy Kapur, they were bowled
over with the idea. Khan felt that this would give Himmatwala
further fillip right from the beginning itself en route
to the film's 29 March release next year. While the
entire plan has been formulated backwards, the 'muhurat'
to be hosted live is a step taken forward.
While
Ajay Devgn, Vashu Bhagnani and other cast and crew
members will fly down to Hyderabad for the muhurat,
Khan will supervise the necessary logistical arrangements
along with UTV to make this as a first of its kinds
shoot that ought to act as a trailblazer.
The
muhurat of the film would be held at 1 pm on 22 August.
