MUMBAI:
American screenwriter and author James Hart, who wrote
the screenplay for Steven Spielberg’s Hook and
Francis Ford Coppola’s Dracula, will host a Master
class on Horror at the 12th Osian’s Cinefanto be
held in New Delhi. The master class will be held on
2 August at 4:30 pm.
The
other master classes would be conducted by Priit Tender
who will conduct two master classes on animation on
29 and 31 July. Tender has made award-winning animation
films like Gravitation (1996), The Crow and the Mice
(1998), Viola (1999) and Mont Blanc (2001).
Samir
Farid, a film critic and author based in Cairo, will
give a lecture on 28 July. Farid has authored several
books on cinema. He is also the consultant for Cinema
affairs in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, library and
cultural centre in the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
The
12th Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival will be held
from 27 July and 5 August.
