MUMBAI:
In its endeavour to create a platform where quality
content is showcased to quality people at a quality
venue, Filmbooth, India's emerging short film festival,
is soon going to launch a monthly screening series for
short films made by independent as well as mainstream
filmmakers from all over the country under its name
of First Cut.
In
the first edition, First Cut will screen Arunima Sharma's
Shyam Raat Seher, Aakash Bhatia's Ordinary People,
Parimak Aloke's Saari Raat, Zalina Gamat's Urnaabh,
Prateek Vats' Kal 15 August Dukan Band Rahegi, Atul
Taishete's Rewind and Bejoy Nambia's Reflections.
First
Cut will be launched on 9 June at the Gulmohar Hall,
India Habitat Centre, Delhi, 6.45 pm onwards.
