MUMBAI:
If things go according to plans of Fox Star Studios
India, Michael Fassbender and Ridley Scott will visit
the country before the release of Prometheus.
An
upcoming science fiction, the film is the story about
how the crew of the spaceship Prometheus is sent
on a scientific expedition to follow the map that is
discovered within the imagery of Aztec, Mesopotamian
and Magdalenian cultures as part of its mission to find
the origins of mankind.
Exploring
the advanced civilisation of an extraterrestrial race,
they soon face a threat to humanity's very existence.
Fassbender
is best known for his roles in the much talked about
Shame and X Men First Class. Fox has
confirmed the visit of Oscar nominated filmmaker Ang
Lee to India in December 2012.
Fox
Star Studios was the one to get Hugh Jackman to India
earlier.
Prometheus
releases in India on 8 June.
