MUMBAI:
Agneepath, a remake of the 1990 film of the same title
from Dharma Productions, has taken an outstanding opening,
making the most of its release on Thursday, 26 January,
the Republic Day holiday.
The
opening day collections touched an all time high of
Rs 230 million. However, due to lack of appreciation
and bad worth of mouth, the film registered a drastic
drop of over 50 per cent over the next two days.
The
collections of the Hrithik Roshan-starrer gained some
respectability on Sunday to end the weekend at approximately
Rs 620 million.

second week, taking its total to Rs 27 million.
Ghost
remains reasonably steady and manages to stay above
the Rs 10 million-mark in its second week to collect
Rs 13 million. Its two-week collections stand at Rs
81 million.
Players
added Rs 25 million in its third week, taking its
total to Rs 290 million.
