MUMBAI: DAR Motion Pictures, the filmed entertainment division of DAR Media, is set to release its second Marathi film, Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap, on 9 September.
DAR had earlier released Lalbaug Parel (Marathi) and Haunted 3D (Hindi). DAR Motion Pictures associate producer Vivek Rangachari said, "Lalbaug Parel, our first Marathi production that went on to be a super hit, released on 9 April last year and so we felt that even Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap, which most definitely will be amongst the biggest films this year, should release on 9 September. Also, as the post-production of the film will only be over sometime around mid-August, 9 September emerged as the most logical release date. This would give us ample time to optimally promote the film across the state."
Co-produced by DAR Motion Pictures and SoBo Films, Teecha Baap Tyacha Baap boasts of a casting combination of industry stalwarts like Sachin Pilgaonkar, Makarand Anaspure and Arun Nalawade who have come together to share screen space for the first time.
