Whistling Woods launches new media division

MUMBAI: In an endeavour to create global standards in training and learning of journalism across media, Whistling Woods International has launched a new division called Whistling Woods International School of Media and Communication (WWISMC). The institute has also tied up with Annamalai University and its academic partner, 24X7 Learning, to team up along with the post graduate programme, a global MBA in Media and Entertainment Management and focusing on soft skills and personality development delivered online by Harvard Business School (Boston, Massachusetts).

Speaking on the occasion, Whistling Woods International Chairman Subhash Ghai said, "In our endeavour to offer the best training to our students we are expanding our portfolio to provide unique opportunities in the field of media and communication. Having such liaisons help students in expanding their horizons beyond filmmaking, enabling them to explore new career options with the best international expertise and schooling. I am hoping that the students grab this opportunity and make the most of it."
