A year young. That's what we became on Sunday, 25th February. And in the dot com world, it can seem like eternity, especially when sites big and small are falling around us like humpty-dumpty unable to put themselves together again.

What started out as a personal home page in October 1996 on tripod.com and became a weekly email newsletter 'The Indian Cab&Sat Reporter' in September 1998, has evolved into the defining site for the Indian cable and satellite television industry. A site that is a must visit for any television, advertising and marketing executive.

We at indiantelevision.com would like to thank all our visitors, frequent or otherwise, serious or casual, for it is their support that has made us what we are. Stick with us and just see where we reach. The sky's the limit and we are reaching for it.

We would like to especially acknowledge the television fraternity who have supported us every stretch of the way, in ways that has at times astounded us and also raised the bar as far as the goals we have set for ourselves go.

We have continuously expanded news coverage, interactive areas, launched specialised newsletters, rejigged the site design and feel, and are looking at expanding into newer areas - both online and offline web-enabled activities. The next two months are going to see the site undergo another bout of extensive surgery. And we are excited by the prospect of further change. We are committed to indiantelevision.com and we have stuck by our vision despite naysayers who have questioned our credentials and the road map we have set for ourselves. What keeps us going is our dogged belief that we will make it work. And that belief coarses through all of us.

We are confident that we are going to survive the dot com bloodbath that is to come over the next year, with God and the industry's grace. May the force be with us.

And with you!!!
